Blue Therapy have been out and about with walks, paddles and cycles enjoying the colourful array of giant hares positioned around Southend and in aid of Havens Hospices!
The Hares About Town trail started on the 1st July 2021 and ran for a total of 10 weeks. During which many of the community took the opportunity to enjoy the trail while out doing one of their favourite activities.
30 super-sized hare sculptures each individually designed appeared all around the town in an impressive, family-friendly art installation to explore and enjoy. Many of the hares then be auctioned afterwards to raise vital funds to support the hospice care.
Blue Therapy Active took full advantage of this trail as many of the community spent time visiting the various locations. We would like to thank Havens Hospices, Southend Borough Council and everyone else involved in such a great idea.
